These Community Guidelines are here to help you understand what it means to be a part of Library Chef. By participating in our community, you agree to these guidelines and our overall Terms and Conditions. Our goal is to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for all users, enabling everyone to share, learn, and connect over their love for food and cooking.
Be Kind and Courteous: We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
Hate Speech and Bullying: Library Chef takes a strong stance against hate speech, bullying, and discrimination. We do not tolerate content that attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition.
Harassment: Making demeaning or harassing remarks, threats, or any behavior that intimidates, undermines, or demeans another person is strictly prohibited.
Relevance: Keep posts and conversations relevant to cooking, recipes, culinary techniques, and food-related discussions. Non-relevant content may be removed.
Intellectual Property: Share content that you’ve created or have the right to share. Always give proper credit when you post content from another source.
No Illegal Content: Posting or sharing illegal content, including pirated materials or content promoting illegal activities, is not allowed.
Personal Information: Do not share personal information, whether it's yours or someone else's. This includes addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, passwords, sensitive information and private communications.
Impersonation: You may not impersonate individuals, groups, or organisations in a manner that is intended to or does deceive, confuse, or mislead others.
Constructive Participation: Engage in discussions positively and constructively. Avoid derailing conversations or spamming the community with off-topic content.
Reporting Violations: If you see something that violates our Community Guidelines, please report it to us for review. We rely on our community members to help keep each discussion respectful and safe.
Use of Language: While we celebrate the diversity of our community, we ask that you write in English to ensure broad comprehension and participation. Use inclusive and accessible language.
Moderation: Our team reviews reports of rule violations and will take appropriate actions, including issuing warnings, removing content, or suspending accounts.
Accountability: Users who repeatedly violate these guidelines or exhibit particularly egregious behavior may be permanently banned from the Library Chef community.
Feedback and Appeals: We understand that misunderstandings can occur. If you believe your content was removed unfairly or wish to appeal a decision, please contact us with your feedback.
